Google Introduces 'Web Designer' Software for HTML5 Sites and Ads

Google today announced ‘Web Designer’, a new Web design tool for building HTML5 sites and ads.

The new software has many tools for making custom websites and ads. But most of the tools are only limited to making animated ads. Google says that it will make all the tools available for building websites soon.

The company first hinted the launch of new website design software in June, but was quiet from then on. The new tool is said to be a ‘professional quality design tool’ by Google. It is available for beta testing for both Windows and Mac platforms.

Google added that web designers did not have an all in one tool for cross screen websites. Web designer is one such tool that can do that all.

Web designer encompasses a set of tools for both the designers and the developers. It features a quick mode for building animations that can be edited through a timeline. These give website designers more control on each element in their design.

Moreover, it also features 3d animation creation with the help of CSS3 and a pen tool for crafting illustrations and embedding them in the website, all in one place.
